Introductions!

Hello and welcome to this blog that I hope will remain short and nonexistent in the future.

Why?  Because I *need* a job.

I have worked in office jobs as an admin for several years, along with four as a photographer on the side, mainly catching concerts at night and filing during the day and I have been wanting to get into copywriting too.  But then something happened.  Love.

I moved from Boston and its convenience to NYC and went to the beautiful city of Burlington Vermont, where I can not seem to get a job despite a month of posting-even as I type this, I have yet to even get an OK on a background check for the past three weeks!  Since we can not seem to find a decent place to find dumplings, which my missus loves.  Thus, I have decided to make dumplings each day I do not get to work.

Am I good at it?  Not really.  The most experience I had with dough involved box cake.  Actually, I made some pies too, but apparently dumplings, from what I was told, are a sort of thing you do when you have nothing better to do.  Appropriate, right?

Along the way, I'll tell you some things I encountered along the way and maybe a few things I have noticed. If I can get over the fact that I will be covering my hands in dough, you may also see photos!  Hopefully, this blog will be useful to whoever looks at it, although to be honest, I'd rather be earning a paycheck.
